With over 12 years direct experience of selling online socialme.ie have practical hands on experience of generating revenue online that many consultancy businesses don’t quite understand.

Founder

Colm Griffin is the founder of Socialme.ie and has been running the award winning online store Purchase.ie since 2009.

A lean start up Purchase.ie specialises in products which can help its customers save on energy bills and has turned over in the region of 2 million euro since it was founded.

Having completed an Honours Degree in Accounting and Human Resource Management from the National College of Ireland Colm worked extensively in media and advertising sales for many years. He worked with newspaper titles like the Kingdom Newspaper and the Sunday Tribune and the TV station Setanta Sports. Colm founded Purchase.ie in 2009 at the height of the recession in Ireland with the aim of providing people with products which can help them reduce their domestic bills.

Purchase.ie won the  award for Best Micro E-commerce business in Ireland at the inaugural E-commerce awards back in 2016 and continued to grow from strength to strength subsequently.

Colm also set up and ran E-commerce Ireland back in 2012. Over a 2 year period he organised over 20 free events with expert guest speakers giving talks on various topics to help people sell online more effectively. These events were sometimes attended by in excess of 100 attendees. This group has now evolved into the Ecommerce Association of Ireland.
